INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Concerts

Tour Management and shared promoter Australian and New Zealand tours by major international artists including AC/DC, Michael Jackson (NZ Tour), James Taylor, Foreigner, Doobie Brothers, Wet Wet Wet and Dire Straits.

Promotion and management roles for tours including Eric Clapton, Whoopie Goldberg, Bee Gees, Joan Armatrading, The Highwaymen, The Seekers and Elivs Costello, Tour Director for the Australian Tour of John Farnham and Tom Jones "Together in Concert" and Tour Manager for the Australian tour of Bette Midler's Kiss My Brass.

Theatre

Producer of Dein Perry's Steel City, which toured throughout Australia and had the honour of a rare Australian production debut at New York's Radio City Music Hall in January 1999.

Promoter's representation on three Australian and New Zealand tours of Riverdance plus various producing, commercial, merchandising and marketing appointments with major productions including Jesus Christ Superstar (Australia and New Zealand), Bad Boy Johnny and the Prophets of Doom, Cats, 42nd Street, The Hobbit, The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, La Fura's XXX , Shoosh and Eurobeat the Musical.

Entertainment

Executive producer of the Christmas spectacular Santa's Kingdom. In 2004 and 2005 Executive Producer of the international arena equine spectacular Cavalcade-Reins of Fire.

Sport

Management of the on-site merchandising for the Barcelona Olympic Games, including the development of product range, creation of 150 sales outlets and hiring, training and management of over 500 staff.

Executive Producer for the Kostya Tszyu World Title Fight and Commercial Consultant for the 2004 World Track Cycling Championships at Melbourne's Vodaphone Arena plus event management, marketing and production with the Victorian Polo Association and event consultant for the 2007 World Athletics Tour at Olympic Park.

Merchandising

In addition to the Barcelona Olympics detailed above, other merchandising management appointments include the Australian Open tennis (6 years), venue merchandising management at Melbourne Park (8 years) and Olympic Park / Melbourne Sports & Entertainment Centre (16 years) and Australian Masters games.

Management

Personal management appointments have included Olympic gold medallist Debbie Flintoff-King, singer Debra Byrne, contemporary dance theatre Link Theatre and currently singer/songwriter Melinda Jackson.

Consultancy

Consultancy appointments include roles with Garry Van Egmond, Talentworks, Australian Film Institute, Victorian Arts Centre Trust,Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust, RANS Management, Herald Sun Tour, Bowls Australia, Athletics Australia and the Department for Victorian Communities (Sport & Recreation Victoria).

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Neil Croker

After successfully completing tertiary studies in business subjects at Swinburne and Monash Universities and working in senior positions across a range of industrial and financial sector organisations, Neil Croker has for over twenty years worked exclusively in the entertainment and sports industries.

Neil's company, Performance Services, has tour directed and co-promoted tours by some of the biggest artists in the world including AC/DC, Dire Straights, Michael Jackson (NZ), produced or represented international theatre productions including Riverdance and Steel City, managed major events including the Barcelona Olympic Games' merchandising and consulted to a wide range of prestigious organisations including the Australian Film Institute, Victorian Arts Centre Trust, Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust and Department for Victorian Communities (Sport & Recreation Victoria).

Neil's major skills include management of creative relationships with artists, detailed understanding of tour promoting, ticket selling, planning and management, access to a strong global network of industry organisations and personnel, and sound business management and organisational skills. Performance services has a large pool of casual and contract event support staff that can be mobilised on short notice for events across Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

In recent years, Performance Services has Executive Produced the Kostya Tzyu Title Fight, been Commercial Consultant for the 2004 World Track Cycling Championships, acted as Associate Producer of La Fura's XXX, Executive Produced Shoosh and been Associate Producer-Presentation for the Christmas Spectacular Santa's Kingdom in Melbourne 2004. In 2005, Performance Services Tour Directed John Farnham and Tom Jones "Together in Concert"and Bette Middler's first Australian tour in 26 years, Kiss My Brass, and the Herald Sun Cycling Tour. Performance Services consulted to the Australian Pavillion at the World Expo in Aichi Japan, for Bowls Australia and Athletics Australia plus Executive Produced the equine arena spectacular Cavalcade - Reins of Fire and Sydney's Santa's Kingdom.
